I'm not one to give a five star rating to a chain restaurant. But when I get a five star experience, I give a proper rating. Marina was our seafood specialist/waitress and she is why I am giving this review a five-star rating. I haven't been to a Red Lobster in years before this visit. I ordered the Lobster-Crab-Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms for an appetizer and hubby got the mozzarella sticks. The attention/service we received was the best I can remember in months. Marina was on top of drink refills and making sure we had everything we needed. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing and the mozzarella sticks were double the serving you would get anywhere else. Our salads came out shortly after and the cheddar bay biscuits were hot and delish as always. For entrees, hubby ordered the Cajun chicken linguine with extra Cajun seasoning, less sauce. I ordered the Crab and Roasted Garlic Seafood Bake. Momma ordered the Ultimate Feast. The food was perfect, and seasoned so amazingly. I do apologize for the shrapnel I left from cracking my crab legs open ... I tried to clean up after myself as much as possible before I left. Hubby and momma both loved their dishes. The portions were so large we all took home doggie bags. Marina got a well deserving + 20% tip and we paid with cash so right in her hands in went. I watched her with other customers while we were there and it was exceptional service for everyone. I would definitely come back here but not that often, as the prices were a bit high. I don't mind paying high prices for an excellent experience.

We tried 4-course feast which you will have a choice of a soup, a salad, an entree. You can choose 1 of these entree: - Wood-Grilled Fresh Tilapia. - Jumbo Coconut and Spicy Pineapple-Grilled Shrimp - Shrimp-and-Scallops Alfredo with fresh tomatoes - Garlic-Grilled Shrimp - Hand-Breaded Shrimp - Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo and a dessert for $16.99. Can't beat that. Love their cheddar bay biscuits, warm, soft and melt in your mouth. Ummm! Ummm! Good. LOL. Overall, the food is good, seafood taste fresh and dessert is delicious. Service is attentive and price is affordable. (We have had lot of leftover food to take home for the next day ;-) )

On the rare occassions when my husband and I have a shared moment to actually have lunch, we love to grab lunch here. The restaurant is clean, quiet, efficient, and comfortably ambient. Sometimes the waitstaff is a little hover-y but most times, they're perfect. Our food is always delicious, timely served, and ridiculously affordable. Red Lobster was a favorite dinner place for my parents years ago and now I enjoy the same great service and quality food for lunch with my husband. Keep up the great work!

Before this trip, I hadn't eaten at a Red Lobster in 8 years. I hadn't eaten at this particular Red Lobster in about 15 years. I have seen the numerous face lifts and transformations that have occurred to this location over that time period as I would visit family. It was inevitable that I would return to this particular restaurant since Port Charlotte is a veritable desert and barren wasteland when it comes to fine dining -- or dining of any measure, for that matter. I am not going to specifically go into what I ordered, it's a chain. They have the same food readily available everywhere and, like all chains, they are continually reinventing themselves to stay in the good graces of the ever-discerning general populace. The overall taste and appearance of the food was on par with, maybe a notch above, what one would get at a fast food joint. Everything had a greasy sheen to it and left my hands and napkins soaked with something that wasn't water based. The service was okay and we received everything warm, if not hot, and our drinks were usually full. There was really nothing that made me think, "Wow! This chain really breaks the mold!" I didn't leave hungry and I didn't leave angry.

Good food if you are a seafood person. We are, so it was good. It is still a chain and operates accordingly.

What a pleasant restaurant ! Our server Rachel was delightful as was the hostess. We were traveling from south Florida and wanted to sit down and relax. Walts shrimp was plentiful and delicious. Will definitely stop by during our next trip to the area.

Overall a great place for seafood-and non seafood eaters! Went with a party of 7 plus a 2 year old.. service was great and we never went without drinks or the tasty cheddar biscuits. Dinner was delish... Lobster bisque was to die for and the lobster pizza was different but yummy. They even have a 4 course deal for something like $15 per person and that included dessert. A few of the diners in my party had this deal and enjoyed it with no complaints. Dessert was good from what I heard too. Service was quick, food yummy and the waitress was pleasant. No complaints here. Will return.

Okay, someone else wanted to go and I was not very excited. I used to be a traveling salesman before I became God's gift to social media, and I have dined at Red Lobster many times. I've always had a consistent and pleasant experience, but Red Lobster (or any chain) is not the top of my preferred dining list, especially when I am out of town! Our server was too chatty and didn't listen, and didn't come around enough (this Red Lobster is SPRAWLING in size!), but that didn't affect the food. We all know how tasty RL's cheddar rolls are (Yummo!), and I opted for the Tilapia special with shrimp fettuccine on the side. The Tilapia was awesome, all broiled and garlicky, total home run. Looking forward to taking mom and going back for another round next trip.

Only go here if you want over cooked seafood which is not what you ordered off the menu. I ordered scallops and was served something like white fish that had been cut in circles to look like bay scallops. Perhaps their only redeeming quality is their biscuits.

I ate here Monday evening good food & Clam chowder. My favorite part of experience was the Waitress Azaria what a good attitude she says she has been there for more than a year and seems to enjoy her job. To me as a single guy very attractive also. Kevin tip I enjoy eating at not peak times everything at any place seems better

Okay, I've never been to a Red Lobster before, so I didn't really know what to expect. The food was great and the service was better. The waitress could tell my coworker and I were on our lunch hour, so she offered to rush our food. I was impressed with how fast it was ready and I'd say we were in and out in less than 45 minutes. Very satisfied.

Okay, so it is a regulation Red Lobster. What I found so appealing was the clean, appetizing atmosphere. The service was perfect, as well. The older server was attentive, friendly and checked in just the right amount. I had the lobster and clambake special, which was rather pricey, but delicious and worth every penny. Altogether it made for a pleasant, relaxing dining experience.

One of the main chain seafood restaurants in the Port Charlotte area. My parents have eaten here for the longest time and had good things to say about the food and service. Enjoyed dinner with my Mom during Lobsterfest! Very busy location upon arrival and the hostess was very pleasant. We were at our table in about 20 minutes. The decor was very welcoming and the temperature was just right for my Mom. The waitress was quick and stopped by enough to make sure we were doing good. The food was hot and on par for a chain restaurant.

Food is fair, but every red lobster I ever been to (plenty) has air conditioning set to freezing. Feels like 65, even many staff agree. Food get cold before you can finish it. Comment or complain and answer is - call corporate office. Yikes, that us customer service at local level :-(
